Ill. Raymond Morris Davis, Jr., 33°, Personal Representative. Mr. Davis was born in Jacksonville, Florida on the 19th day of September in 1938.
After high school he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years and then joined the United States Army Reserve where he retired as a Master Sergeant.
He retired from the Gainesville Police Department and Alachua County Sheriff's Department as a Detective.
Ill. Davis is a Deacon & Ordained Elder and Trustee in the Presbyterian Church in Gainesville.
He was Raised a Master Mason in Gainesville Lodge No. 41 F. & A.M. on the 1st day of June in 1985. He worked through the Chairs and served the Lodge as their Worshipful Master in 1990 and again in 1992. He served the Grand Lodge of Florida as District Youth Chairman for 7 years, Zone 4 Chairman for Public Relations and Publicity Committee. R∴W∴ Raymond M. Davis served as District Deputy Grand Master for the 14th Masonic District.
Brother Raymond joined the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Ocala, Orient of Florida on the 20th day of July in 1985. He was Invested with the rank of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor on the 9th day of November in 1991, and Coroneted with the Rank of Sovereign Grand Inspector General 33° Honorary on the 8th Day of November in 1997. He was Appointed as the Personal Representative to the Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Florida, Ill. Dale I. Goehrig, 33°, in August of 2011.
